The tournament, which is celebrating its tenth edition, has the forced absence of the leader of the Ranking, José María Ortiz de Pinedo from Valladolid, but with the presence of sixteen other names that have shone in the season that concludes: César Crespo, Antón Pérez, Noel León Calzadilla, Hugo Carro, César Fernández de Caleya, Rafael Santonja, Austin Richard Nustedt, Juan Soler, Jesús Soler, Hugo Kestas Nustedt, Luis Montero, José Ángel Pérez, Fernando Mata, Antonio Macías, Miquel Deyá and Marcos Gómez.

It is worth remembering that this list of contenders includes the Spanish Men's Champion (César Crespo), the Spanish Mid Amateur Champion (César Fernández de Caleya) and the defending champion, Miquel Deyá.

Six tournaments to determine the National Ranking

This National Pitch & Putt Ranking was compiled based on the results of the six qualifying events established by the Pitch & Putt Technical Committee: the two Spanish Championships (Men's and Women's) and the four National Qualifying Tournaments, which resulted in victories for Carlos Vega, César Crespo, and, twice, José María Ortiz de Pinedo. The Spanish Champion, crowned just two weeks ago, was María Velázquez.
