Paula Martín and Andrea Revuelta have taken the top two spots in the European Amateur Women's Ranking this week. Their fantastic results this summer, culminating in Spain's victory at the European Team Championships, have propelled them to the top of the list.
It so happens that both are members of the Stanford University team, with which they have also achieved significant results throughout the season.
On the individual front, Paula Martín's victories in the Women's Amateur Championship and the European Individual Championship are noteworthy, with Andrea Revuelta securing third place in the latter. These exciting months for Paula also include an eighth-place finish in her debut at a major tournament, The Women's Open.
The third spot in this European ranking goes to Sweden's Meja Örtengren, while fourth is held by another Madrid native, Carolina López-Chacarra. Rocío Tejedo, in sixth place, and Cayetana Fernández, in ninth, complete a very Spanish Top 10.
Only Kiara Romero stands in Paula's way to number one
Meanwhile, the world ranking is led by American Kiara Romero, with Paula Martín and Andrea Revuelta themselves in second and third place, respectively.
