Marc Oller, second in the Visually Impaired Players category, was the most outstanding Spaniard at the Bokskogens Golfklubb course in Svedala, in southern Sweden, where the seventh edition of the European Individual Adapted Golf Championship was held, an event organized by the European Disabled Golf Association (EDGA) in collaboration with the European Golf Association (EGA).

The Madrid native has totaled 282 strokes, eleven more than Scotland's Barry McCluskey, who took the lead in the second round and never relinquished it. Oller's round improved throughout the week (86+92+104), but he still secured a commendable second place.

In Category A, by far the largest category, Santiago Hernández (+10) finished fourth after climbing three places with his best round of the tournament, a 72, only surpassed by one other player on the day. The Extremaduran golfer finished three strokes shy of third place and eight behind first, which went to Denmark's Frederik Brokfelt-Christiansen (+2).

Meanwhile, Juan Postigo (+16), who was hunting for what would have been his fourth title, has fallen to eleventh place on his grayest day (81).

And in the Wheelchair Players category, Fernando Vega de Seoane (+63) has maintained fourth place, far behind the undisputed winner, the Dutchman Richard Kluwen (+45),

It is worth remembering that in Sweden the competition has been divided into four categories: A) Players with disabilities (Standing Championship), B) Wheelchair players (Seated Championship), C) Players with visual disabilities (Visual Championship) and D) Players with intellectual disabilities (Intellectual Championship).

The Spanish representatives in the event were Juan Postigo, Santiago Hernández, Patricia Roldán and Francisco Centeno in category A, Fernando Vega de Seoane and Sebastián Lorente in category B and Marc Oller in category C.
