The 2025 Spanish Individual Senior Men's Championship has concluded at the Larrabea Golf Club (Landa, Álava) with the victory of Alejandro Lafarga, after the completion of the second day.

The tournament has been affected by continuous rain during the first two days, which has forced it to be suspended on several occasions, which is why it has been decided to reduce the competition to two days.

In these 36 holes, the most successful player was Alejandro Lafarga, with two rounds of 75 (+3) and 70 strokes (-2), for a total of 145 strokes (+1).

The Madrid player managed to climb three places in the last round to take the victory ahead of Jacobo Cestino, who finished in second position four strokes behind, with a total of 149 strokes (+5).

The podium of this eventful tournament was completed by Álvaro Martínez-Rumbo, Iván San Félix, Gonzalo Paradinas and Carlos García, all with total scores of 151 strokes (+7).

The first day was suspended due to rain.

The 2025 Spanish Senior Men's Individual Championship began at the Larrabea Golf Club with the first day of competition, but inclement weather prevented any of the matches from being completed.

The maximum number of holes some participants were able to play was ten, and as the rules state, at the time of the suspension each player marked their ball where it lay to continue playing from that point the next day.

Finally, this first round was completed the following day, leaving Carlos Cendra as the leader with a score of 72 strokes, at even par, with Carlos García and Ignacio González sharing second place with scores of 74 strokes (+2).

This 2025 Spanish Men's Senior Individual Championship was the third event counting towards the 2025 National Senior Ranking. The first was the Sherry Golf Spanish International, where Iván San Félix and Jacobo Cestino, finishing tenth, were the best Spanish players; then came the Madrid Championship, won by Alejandro Lafarga, and the Torre de Hércules Senior International, which will take place from July 4th to 5th at the Real Club de Golf de La Coruña, is still to be played.
