Golf acts as a driver of economic activity in Spain. This sport attracts 1.4 million tourists annually, which has a significant impact on the Spanish economy, as 8.9 out of every 10 euros spent on golf go to other sectors.

These are some of the data extracted from the II Study on the Economic Impact of Golf in Spain, carried out by Professor Juan Santaló, Professor of Strategic Management at IE University, and promoted by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation (RFEG) and the Spanish Association of Golf Courses (AECG).
