The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, together with the Autonomous Federations and the support of the Higher Sports Council through its Women and Sport program, promotes the television program HOLAGOLF, a fifteen-minute magazine.
The aim of this program, presented by journalist Miguel Ángel Barbero and professional golfer Patricia Lobato, is to introduce golf to those unfamiliar with it by highlighting its many benefits, such as health, nature, and physical activity. Additionally, leading figures in the sport collaborate to dispel the prejudices that have historically been associated with this recreational and athletic activity.
En la decimoctava entrega de la temporada, se pone el foco en primer lugar en el nuevo campeón de la Solheim Cup. Estados Unidos se hizo con el trofeo tras siete años de sequía pese a que Europa compitió hasta el final, sin ser suficiente para evitar el triunfo local. Se explica perfectamente en la sección de ‘Actualidad’.
Luego, la entrevista de la semana tiene un protagonista muy especial: el humorista y actor Josema Yuste, que habla de cómo tras colgar las raquetas de tenis se enamoró apasionadamente del golf hace más de treinta años.
En ‘Damasgolf’, la sección va dedicada a aquellas periodistas deportivas relacionadas con el mundo del golf que han remado contra viento y marea para llegar a cumplir su meta laboral. Mientras, Kiko Luna vuelve al trabajo en ‘Kiko, te necesito’ tras la llamada inesperada de la doble medallista olímpica Vivi Ruano. La extenista necesita pulir varios aspectos de su juego con la ayuda del maestro de Jon Rahm.
Por último, en ‘Palabra de Hugolf’, el periodista Hugo Costa nos habla de la gesta histórica que ha conseguido Scottie Scheffler a través de un recorrido histórico por los mayores triunfos logrados en una temporada en el PGA Tour.
