After three years of work and collaboration, the EDUGOLF Project, of which the Royal Spanish Golf Federation has been a part, has published the final conclusions of this initiative focused on maximizing development strategies for the golf industry.

The final document contains information, documentation, and learning content through its five key sections.

These results are available via the web edugolf.eu, They are freely accessible to all individuals and organizations related to the golf community to inform about systems and structures for innovation in golf education.

The Royal Spanish Golf Federation has been part of this project since its inception, contributing its experience and knowledge mainly in the field of training.

EDUGOLF, a project to adapt to a modern society

This EDUGOLF project has been spearheaded by the European Commission through the EOSE and has received advice from the CPG (formerly the PGAs of Europe). Its main objective is to conduct an up-to-date analysis of the golf industry and develop strategies to adapt as closely as possible to society, determining the sector's occupational standards (skills) and advancing the acquisition and retention of new clients/players, updated teaching methodologies, etc.

Golf, as a major sport in Europe, has unique qualities that can stimulate and engage participants from all walks of life and play a leading role in their good physical and mental health, regardless of their age or background.

However, for golf to have the maximum impact across the EU, people involved in golf must recognize that, as society changes, the way people engage with sport in general and golf in particular is also changing.

EDUGOLF's vision is that adapting to change can revitalize sport, helping it to engage with a wider range of EU citizens, improve their quality of life and broaden the sport's participation base.
