About Jim McLean

Jim McLean has served as director at four of the top private golf clubs in the United States. As Director of Golf at Doral Resort, he moved to Florida in 1993 to manage its golf school, the Jim McLean Golf School (JMGS). He later relocated its global headquarters to the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, in 2018.

JMGS is the number one golf school in the United States, and Jim is considered the best instructor in South Florida. Golf Digest magazine named him one of the top three instructors in America for the past 25 years. In addition to the three in the United States (Biltmore, Miami Beach Golf Club, and Park City, Utah), there are Jim McLean golf schools in Spain, Mexico, and South Korea.
