The Madrid Golf Training Center will host a Technical Training Camp between March 19 and 21, bringing together the most outstanding players in the Absolute, Junior, Under-18 and Youth categories with the aim of evaluating their progress and preparing for the international competitions in which they regularly participate.

To ensure the smooth running of the aforementioned training camp, and given the large number of golfers invited, several working groups have been established, each led by a national coach. Thus, José Gallardo and Marta Figueras-Dotti will be providing their expertise over the three days to Emma Cabrera, Inés Tusquets, Carolina Andrade, Inés Díaz-Negrete, Adriana Zwanck, Belén Mozo, Diana Terol, Sonia Cólogan, Carmen Montava, Carmen Pérez Narbón, María Hernández, Azahara Muñoz, Ana Sansó-Rubert, Lucía Mar, and Diana Vazquez.

They will all undertake an intense work program that includes long game, short game, bunker shots, chipping, putting, etc., as well as notions of physical preparation – led by Francisco Fernández, physical trainer of the national golf teams – and Rules, taught by Paloma Enríquez.

Simultaneously, although in this case for only two days (March 19 and 20), players from the Youth category have been summoned with the same objective, including Carlota Ciganda, Belén Buendía, Ane Urchegui, Consuelo Gotor, Alejandrina Pérez, Lorena Lope Vacas, Almudena Blasco, Ana Fernández de Diego, Ana Fernández de Mesa and Amanda Goyos.

All of them, potential members of the national teams in international competitions, will develop a similar work coordinated in this case by Marta Figueras-Dotti (who serves as a link between this group of players and the older ones), Macarena Tey and Kiko Luna, all with the aim of ensuring continuity in the preparation of all the players, that the younger ones share situations with more experienced players and that their future integration into the higher category teams is faster.

The quality of the players called up is beyond doubt given the presence of the current Spanish champions in the different categories, several members of the Spanish teams that won the last European Team Championships, as well as other internationally renowned triumphs.
