Alberto Campos Villarino from Galicia emerged victorious in the fourth National Pitch & Putt Qualifying event - valid for the 2007 National Ranking - held at the Meaztegui course (Vizcaya), after signing a card of 55 strokes.

Alberto Campos Villarino had one less hit than José Manuel Igual Gómez and Juan Rodríguez Ferreiro, who shared second place ahead of Eugenio Pérez Corral.

Reflecting the good health of this golf specialty in Spain is the fact that up to five of the participating players – including José Ángel Pérez Reñones and Óscar Sánchez Varela – obtained rounds of less than 60 strokes.
