The AEPSAD (Spanish Agency for Health Protection in Sport) has launched the Values and Fair Play course within its Virtual Classroom, a novel initiative that aims to spread values through sports practice.

This course is free of charge and can be self-enrolled for athletes, coaches, etc.

The premise is that sport is a good tool for teaching values to generations of children and young people.

The World Anti-Doping Agency, in its new edition of the World Anti-Doping Code that came into force on January 1, has emphasized this assertion by including values-based education in its definitions: "Conducting activities that emphasize the development of an individual's personal values and principles. It develops the capacity to learn, make decisions, and behave ethically."«

It is important to keep in mind that the VALUES that sport transmits to us can influence the rest of our lives, even when we no longer feel immersed in it.

The course also includes content related to the psychological aspects that may influence an athlete to eventually resort to "cheating".
