This Thursday, December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, And at the RFEG we celebrate by showing how our Adapted and Inclusive Golf Committee has grown thanks to the people who are part of it and the players who participate in its competitions.

The RFEG (Royal Spanish Golf Federation) created this Adapted and Inclusive Golf Committee in 2007 with the main objective of promoting the sport among people with disabilities, prioritizing facilitating their access to the game. This objective has been achieved: in recent years, many people have taken up golf thanks to adapted golf schools and national and regional competitions.

From a purely competitive standpoint, the individual successes achieved by Juan Postigo - let's remember, two-time European champion, four-time Spanish champion, bronze medalist at the 2016 World Championship,… - and other golfers such as Antonio Llerena, Francisco Centeno or Sebas Lorente, as well as the remarkable results of the National Team, have made Spanish Adapted Golf one of the strongest in the world.

In the videos linked below, Marc Oller details how a blind golfer plays; Francisco Centeno, a one-armed player, shares his playing routines; and some of the main actors of the Adapted and Inclusive Golf Committee tell us their life stories and what it has meant for them to get closer to our sport.

We encourage anyone interested in this project to contact the RFEG. Together we are stronger!
