El sexto artículo se centra en algunas variaciones al cálculo en función del número de hoyos que se juegan y el formato, en este caso concreto los resultados en vueltas de 9 hoyos, que, antiguamente reservadas a juveniles, han experimentado un incremento en los últimos tiempos.
Por ello, en el nuevo Sistema Mundial de Hándicaps las vueltas de 9 hoyos serán válidas para todos los jugadores, independientemente de su hándicap (hasta ahora no eran válidas para primera categoría).
