Álvaro Zerolo, physiotherapist for the RFEG and the European Tour, gives us a series of tips to stay in shape during these days when we have to stay at home as a result of the state of emergency declared in our country.
This series of exercises, which will be accumulated in this space over the next few weeks, has an additional purpose, as they are related to parts of the body that are commonly used in the movements and turns we make when hitting the ball with golf clubs.
En el quinto vídeo de la serie, Álvaro nos presenta ejercicios fundamentales para la movilidad dorsal. Esta cobra especial relevancia en un deporte como el golf, ya que la rotación es básica en el swing.
Lower back, back and abdomen, in previous videos
We begin with some stretching exercises to strengthen the lower back, an area of the back that is so important when performing the swing, and we continue with a second one, the so-called plank, related to strengthening the core of the body.
In the third video, Álvaro Zerolo showed us exercises to strengthen the glutes, one of the most important muscles in the human body, and in the fourth installment, we worked on the abdomen to enhance our backswing.
