Of the nearly 83,000 players registered with the Madrid Golf Federation, more than 11,000 are minors. To protect them from potential shortcomings, the FGM has been developing various preventative measures.

This commitment will be further reinforced by the Prevention and Action Plan against Harassment, Abuse and Sexual Assault, which has been established by the FGM, the first golf federation in Spain to activate it.

The #TresVecesNo Plan will consist of an independent commission made up of professionals outside the FGM who will autonomously assess and study all confidential information that may come to them, in addition to a series of informative workshops and mandatory courses for FGM employees and all those who have a relationship with underage players in travel, training camps and competitions organized by the FGM, as well as a guide for all institutions where they have minors developing the practice of golf.

To facilitate communication and access to information and different prevention measures, an explanatory guide has been published and distributed to golf courses in the Community of Madrid, and a website has also been created: www.fedgolfmadrid.com/3vecesNo/ where all the necessary information for prevention is collected, as well as the protocol for action and the email address - of a totally confidential nature - where inquiries or alleged irregularities can be directed, which will be dealt with by a committee of professionals who will study the problem and the consequent actions to be taken.

In addition, the FGM will conduct various information workshops throughout the year to raise awareness and promote responsible behavior among all practitioners of this sport, in accordance with its inherent values.
