The introduction of the new World Handicap System, designed to establish single, common rules for handicap control and to provide a more consistent measure of the skill of players from different regions of the world, will be implemented as planned in 2020.
Learn about the most important issues related to this matter through a series of technical articles that break down the most relevant questions in order to offer golfers the most detailed information possible on how the handicap is calculated.

To do this, the player's last 20 scores are taken and the spreads are calculated as explained in the three previous technical articles. The best spreads will be the lowest, as they represent a higher level of play.
