The Road to Mallorca is extended for four more years on the HotelPlanner Tour

The Grand Final will remain on the Balearic island until at least 2030.

The HotelPlanner Tour and the Balearic Golf Federation have announced a four-year extension of the "Road to Mallorca", guaranteeing that the Grand Final will remain on the island until 2030.

The HotelPlanner Tour visited Mallorca for the first time in 2019, and since then, the island has hosted the season-ending event seven times, spread across two venues: T Golf Calvia and Alcanada Golf Club—this year's venue and host on five occasions. Between 2027 and 2030, the goal is to add new, top-level courses to Mallorca.

Over the past seven years, the Grand Final in Mallorca has served as a springboard for the next generation of golf stars; previous winners, such as Marco Penge and Kristoffer Reitan, have subsequently excelled on the DP World Tour and other circuits.

The Grand Final is also the stage where aspirations for promotion become reality: players like Angel Ayora, Martin Couvra, Casey Jarvis and Daniel Hillier earned their DP World Tour card precisely at this season-ending event.

Jamie Hodges, director of the HotelPlanner Tour, said: "We are delighted to extend our stay in Mallorca and look forward to continuing to work closely with the Balearic Golf Federation.".

«"Both Alcanada Golf Club and, previously, T Golf Calvia have been exceptional venues for our Grand Final since 2019, offering our players a first-class experience, both on and off the course.".

«"I am excited that, over the next four years, the Grand Final will visit new venues in Mallorca, as we continue to drive the growth of this event both on the island and beyond its borders.".

For his part, Bartolomé Tous Aguiló, president of the Balearic Golf Federation, stated: "We are very pleased that Mallorca will once again host the Grand Final in 2027.".

«"We have worked throughout the season to reach a framework agreement that guarantees the future of this project; seeing these efforts bear fruit is a great satisfaction for the Balearic Golf Federation.".

«"The support of the Balearic Islands Government and the Consell de Mallorca, along with our collaboration with the HotelPlanner Tour, has been fundamental. The Road to Mallorca carries the name of our island around the world and gives us the opportunity to enjoy, at home, a tournament that plays a key role in the career path of players aspiring to make the leap to the DP World Tour.".
