This victory confirms the excellent form of the Madrid player, who had already won the Madrid Senior Championship this year.

Iván San Félix started the decisive round as the leader after a magnificent first round of 67 strokes (-5), but he had to fight until the very last hole to retain his lead. A second round of 76 strokes (+4) raised his total to 143 strokes (-1), ultimately enough to maintain his first-place position.

The excitement continued until the very end thanks to a remarkable comeback from Luis García, who carded the best round of the day with a 71 (-1). After opening the tournament with a 73, the runner-up finished with a 144 (par), just one stroke behind the champion and putting San Félix under pressure throughout the day.

Rafael Burgos completed the podium, finishing third with 149 strokes (+5) after rounds of 72 and 77 strokes.
