Paula Martín and Andrea Revuelta have topped the 2026 European Amateur Ranking compiled by the EGA – European Golf Association, an honor they also achieved in 2025 and which confirms both as two of the great references of amateur women's golf both in Europe and in the world.

The two Spanish golfers will receive gold and silver medals, respectively, which will be presented at the Spanish Golf Gala in December. The bronze medal went to Sweden's Meja Örtengren, and interestingly, the top three players in the Ladies European Amateur Golf Ranking finished in the same order in 2025.

Paula Martín secured second place in the World Team Championship held in Singapore in October 2025. The Spanish golfer also achieved two collegiate victories in 2026—at the Bruin Wave Invitational and the ACC Women's Golf Championship—before winning the Smyth Salver at the AIG Women's Open for the second consecutive year as the top amateur. This EGA gold medal is the second in Paula Martín's brilliant career, which also includes the title at the European Ladies' Team Championship.

Andrea Revuelta, meanwhile, has won the silver medal for the second year in a row. A teammate of Paula Martín at Stanford University, Revuelta was also part of the winning team at the 2016 European Ladies Team Championship, in addition to winning the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate and the NCAA regional tournament with Stanford, and finishing as runner-up at both the Augusta National Women's Amateur and the Women's Amateur Championship this year.

Sweden's Meja Örtengren, who also studies at Stanford University alongside the two Spanish players ahead of her in the rankings, won the bronze medal for the second year in a row. The Nordic player was runner-up at the 2016 Women's Amateur European Championship and has rarely finished outside the top ten in the last 12 months.
