The Alps de las Castillas, a tournament integrated into the Alps Tour calendar, the third European professional circuit after the DP World Tour and the Hotelplanner Tour, is held at the Golf Lerma course in Burgos from July 9 to 11 with a large Spanish contingent.
Álvaro Hernández from the Canary Islands is tied for the lead with Italian Flavio Michetti. The second round had to be suspended at 5:16 p.m. due to a storm, with several players still on the course. Play resumes on Saturday to complete the second round and, after the cut, the third and final round will determine the tournament winner.
