A week packed with new challenges for Spanish players on the professional circuits. With no tournament on the DP World Tour and on the eve of the US Open, attention has focused on attractive challenges such as the Dow Championship, an LPGA Tour event played in pairs.

There, Carla Tejedo and Carolina López-Chacarra, two young golfers with an excellent shared background in the amateur field, finished in twelfth place with a total of -9. Both completed a great round of 66 strokes.

For her part, Julia López has played with the English player with an Andalusian accent, Mimi Rhodes (-8).

Meanwhile, Borja Virto and Joel Moscatel shared 28th place with -8 at the Interwetten Open, a Hotelplanner Tour event in Austria. Sergio García, Luis Masaveu, and Carlos Pigem fared worse, missing the cut at the Asian Tour's International Series Morocco at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam.

In addition, María Herráez finished 21st with +10 in the Raiffeisenbank Czech Ladies Challenge, a LET Access Series event held in the Czech Republic; Miguel Ángel Jiménez (-8) and José María Olazábal (-7) finished their run in the Principal Charity Classic in the Top 25; and Carla Bernat (T25, -2) had another good week on the Epson Tour, this time in the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship.
