Dr. Ramón Espinosa
The Caldes Golf Course is situated on a magnificent 80-hectare estate and boasts a large clubhouse. It was officially recognized by the Spanish Golf Federation in 1989 and opened in 1992. Located in the spa town of Caldes de Montbui, it is just 28 km from Barcelona. The course, designed by Ramón Espinosa, comprises two distinct sections.
The first, with wide streets surrounded by lakes, full of fauna and a great variety of trees that transform it into a garden in the middle of the forest, includes the 9 holes and the 3 par 3s currently in use.
The second area, the remaining 9 holes that will be reseeded before the end of 2011, consists of narrower streets surrounded by large pine and holm oak trees, forming a natural landscape of native flora from the eastern valley.
