Alborán Golf

In Almería, near the capital in the new residential and tourist complex of El Toyo, a few meters from the beach, and very close to the Cabo de Gata natural park, immersed in an unparalleled semi-desert environment, the impressive 18-hole championship golf course "Alborán Golf" was born during the first half of 2005.
Alboran Golf boasts a magnificent 18-hole, par-72 championship course, measuring 6,278 meters in length, along with a spacious driving range and various training areas that also serve as a golf academy. Its designer, Ramón Espinosa, has achieved a remarkable balance between the different holes, considering both their length and the orientation and placement of the various elements that make up the course (bunkers, streams, lakes, etc.). This ensures an enjoyable experience on a challenging course that tests the player's skill on every single hole. The 66 bunkers are strategically positioned throughout each hole, keeping the player constantly focused and alert.

The course also features two large lakes, located on the first nine holes, which, in addition to regulating irrigation, directly influence play and enhance the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Near the clubhouse are the tees for the first hole, the green for the ninth hole (allowing players a short break before continuing with the next nine holes), the tees for the tenth hole, and the majestic green of the eleventh hole. The various practice areas and the spacious driving range tee are also located near the clubhouse, allowing quick access for players who wish to practice before playing the full 18 holes.
