Valdenarra de Bercial Golf Club

The course, designed by Espinosa Golf Design and built by Garden and Golf (www.gardengolf.eu) is located in a part of the Valdenarra meadow, next to the town of Bercial de Segovia.
The greens are made of bentgrass (agrostis), and are very undulating. Some fairways retain their green meadow grass for most of the year.
It has two lakes, one natural and the other man-made for irrigating the greens. Both lakes come into play, strategically located; it also has two small lakes that hold water almost year-round and make reaching the green difficult on two par-3 holes.
The handicaps of the course are trees, lakes (7), broom bushes and bunkers.

It is a rustic 9-hole, par 70 course, with three certainly difficult par 3s, two of them with lateral water and two par 5s, the longest of which is 511 meters and which are a real challenge in terms of distance and technique.
It also has a 10th practice hole with a putting green and an approach area with a length of 100 meters from the yellow tees.
The greens are made of grass (agrostis), very undulating.
Some streets keep the meadow grass green for almost the entire year.
It is a sustainable course that is fed by runoff water and wastewater through a specially built treatment plant that fills two of the lakes, one natural and one artificial, for the irrigation of the greens and tees.
