La Galera Country Club, located just minutes from the center of Valladolid, currently boasts a 9-hole golf course, all with double tees to vary the front and back nines. The golf course measures a total of 6,142 meters, par 72 and SSS 72.
The course, designed by José Rivero and Miguel A. Martín, is situated on a hillside, resulting in very undulating fairways that allow for a wide variety of shots and stances. It is a demanding course, of medium-high difficulty, with three lakes and a waterfall. Two of these lakes are large, and the third, a small, almost shallow stream, is unique in Spain for allowing play.
In short, a challenging but entertaining course that truly teaches you how to play golf, and is complemented by a huge driving range over 300 meters long, a putting green and a golf school.
The complex also includes three social chalets, paddle tennis courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, and football and futsal pitches, where all kinds of competitions and board games can be held. Finally, other services such as a nursery with specialized monitors and large recreational areas for children, restaurants, and a nightclub should also be highlighted.
